Kotsu Flame Broth

Tender chashu pork, incredibly spicy broth, al dente noodles, and tasty mushrooms! As spicy as advertised! Mixing in the chili threads gives it an extra zing! Even the fat of the pork belly was tender and silky. I eat slowly, and the portions are big enough that I was working on it for hours (and I mean this in the very best way!) We also got the takoyaki! Chewy octopus in a smooth batter that's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The takoyaki dipping sauce was the best ever! I think it's kewpie mayo and traditional takoyaki sauce all in one instead of separate as I usually see it. Deliciously sweet and savory! I would buy a bottle of the sauce if I could! The Flame broth may be too spicy to some, but if you LOVE spice, this is perfect. The sweet and savory chashu, the spicy and salty broth, the symphony of taste and texture is divine! Every bite is excellent, down to the last drop. If you're an Avatar: the Last Airbender fan, they were showing it with subtitles when I visited! Clean minimalistic interior. We went during happy hour and it wasn't very busy. Indoor and outdoor seating for however you prefer to dine. We didn't order any beverages, but they do have Ramune sodas. A little pricey, but a good value. I always joke that the mark of good ramen is when the fat of the broth congeals when you take the leftovers home. This passes that bar. Rich broth for rich flavors. This definitely isn't your usual cheap cup noodles. The sauce for the takoyaki was worth it's weight in gold and the chashu was some of the best I've ever had! This place is worth trying at least once. Between chicken, pork, and vegetable broth options, there's something for everyone here!

Kotsu Kick

The broth on this ramen is the best I have ever had. I have tried many places in the IE and nothing compares. They also have really good gyoza that is mildly spicy. Do not skip going here for Ramen!

The Flame

Super delicious. Enjoyed the pork belly and the spice level. I am inexperienced in ramen, but I can't imagine one that is better.

Creamy Vegan

This was an amazing dish to try for my first experience with this restaurant. The tofu was extra firm the way I like it, and the creamy broth was tasty. Usually, when I get a vegan creamy dish of any sort, it tends to be too sweet or the flavor is just off, but this was nothing like that. This creamy broth was just the right amount of salty, sweet, and a little bit of spice. I coupled my creamy vegan ramen with the seaweed salad and some garlic edamame and it was perfect. I will definitely be ordering from this establishment again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good ramen or Japanese comfort food.

Kotsu Kick Broth

Both Ramen were delicious, my hubby had the Tori Flame, which is a chicken base one with the very tender chicken meatballs!! Yummm!?Yummy!! I had the Konsu Spicy with pork, Brussel sprouts and corn. OMG SO GOOOD, my only critique is the pork should be cut thinner and that way it's tender and easy to eat. This is definitely our new spot here in Redondo?
